Re: Ink advice
Refillable carts, what state is the printer in? SG inks run out? New? Check out InkExpress and DyeSubSupplies.

Re: Ink advice
You should find a couple of similar threads on here already, I think you'll need to flush the old inks out of the long lines.

Re: Ink advice
Have you had the printer switched on since 2017 or has it been in a cupboard out of the way? If it's the latter unfortunately your printer will be goosed, however if you left it switched you should get away with flushing it.
We have 2 options a swap out kit that gets you 2 sets of sublisplash ink for £157.50 and the instructions on how to flush it.
Or if the printer is goosed we are still running a offer with a free Ricoh 3110 printer when you purchase 2 full sets of ink, call 01228712128 for more details on Monday if you want or check out our site.

Re: Ink advice
What happens when you try and print a nozzle test pattern - does it work, or does it print nothing, or somewhere in between?
Depending on the humidity and temperature of where it was stored will say how well it may have faired being out of use for so long, along with the quality of the inks that were in the printer.
It may be completely dried up and beyond economic repair, so can't hurt to plug it in and see what happens before working out what to do with it.
It may be worth, if there is some ink flow, to get a set of refillable cartridges and some printed cleaning/flush fluid, and seeing if it will clean though or not before writing it off, but this depends on how much money and time you're willing to throw into it, which may save you having to get a new printer, or it may be money for old rope...

Re: Ink advice
Hi Ben,
If your nozzle check is all present your printer will be fine.
If you can put a picture up of the nozzle check print I can let you know if there might be anything amiss with it.
Should it all be fine you'll just need to get some refillable cartridges and ink, install them and clean the print head to pull your new ink through.
