Am I right in thinking that greys are a pain to get right. I am pressing coasters, can’t remember where from, Subli splash inks, Ricoh printer.
As the title says when pressed they are coming out reddish brown, like black does when over cooked. I am pressing at 180 for 50 secs. This is from my list of temps I have always used. I have turned pressure right down to just about touching and dropped the time to 40 secs and they look grey but you can see that is due to hardly any ink transferring from the paper compared to a proper press where the ink nearly disappears from the paper.
