Same printer nozzle check gap every time

Best photo will deliver more ink and I personally, would always uncheck high speed settings to get the best quality out of the printer.

As Gary said, it will apply more ink. Turning off high speed (as I mentioned above) will turn off the printers bi-directional facility on the printing head (it will only print on left passes rather than on both left and right) and does help to solve fine banding issues.
