Have a think about the £10 membership, which is a small amount to pay when you receive a wealth of knowledge and also discounts from some of the suppliers.
This is a small list of suppliers( not all of them offer DSF discounts)
Listawood,
Xpres,
Dye Sublimation Supplies,
BMS.

Equipment used A4 Ricoh printer, HP3085 Heat Press Graphtec cutter, Jarin mug press, CJV 30-60 solvent printer and lots of help from DSF.

I use both a halogen oven and standard mug presses. I find the oven best for full-area prints. You'll need some silicone mug wraps that clip the paper print to the mug. I use the green ones from ebay, available for about £5 each. It takes me about 9 minutes to 'cook' a single mug in the oven and about 12 minutes for two.

I just use a Ricoh SG3110DN A4 printer with inks and paper from City Ink Express, but I believe the inks from InkExpress (who advertise in this forum) are excellent.

We can provide printer starter packages which cover the printing side of things - printer, Inktec inks, sublimation paper, refillable cartridges / or CISS and an ICC profile to colour match the inks / paper and printer combination.

As a company we specialise in the printers / inks / papers. We do not venture into the heat press or blanks side of things as there are already many good suppliers out there and / or on this forum.

RICOH and Epson printers are popular alternatives to a Sawgrass printer setup and can save 50%+ on the initial investment. The RICOH printers are now discontinued and any remaining stock is demanding quite a premium, albeit they are cracking printers for sublimation.

We typically supply Epson desktop inkjet printers that are converted for sublimation, our packages starter from £149.00 all in, this would be for a good basic A4 printers perfect for mugs and smaller sublimate items. I personally use a very cheap single clamp mug press which cost £60.00, granted I only do a few mugs but it works brilliantly for me and is a great way to get started.

As a few of the other members have said, you can start off small to dip your toe and work from there as demand grows.

Hi Joel, on the print side of things we cover pretty much what you need with the printer packages. The only other things you owuld need are- heat press, blanks and heat tape.

I sell directly on my website - www.inkexpress.co.uk or eBay. My eBay listings are better as they show more details photographs (my website is being rebuilt and should be much much better come October / November)

My eBay shop is here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/inktecmidlands

All my sublimation printer packages are here (A4 and A3 starting from £149.00 upwards) - https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/inktecmidlan ... 2474953017

I personally bought my SG3110 setup from DyeSublimationSupplies (Fairly certain they have an account in here), worked out around £400 as an entry level model.

I've seen some fairly good kits sold by CityInkExpress too, might be worth giving them a look.
