Hi all,

I've been doing digital art for around 15 years and have wanted to sell my designs for a long time. I had used POD sites like Redbubble for a few years but felt I wanted to try this for myself. I looked into T shirt printing and realized I likely won't have the space for the stock (1 bedroomed flat troubles) so I decided mugs are probably the next best thing, plus who doesn't need a mug right? ;) I should be able to be selling in a niche market at least. Have been doing a lot of reading and noticed some "set up kits" on some websites that are around 350 to 500. No idea if they're worth it however, which i'll post a thread asking in a few. :)

Regards,
Ashley

Hi Ashley,

It's good to know that you are an experienced artist for digital art. I would be certainly interested to know if you can work on stand alone mug designs and templates ? Please pm me so we can discuss further.

Hi Ashley
I bought a start up kit for about £500 from a reputable company with a track record and I have no complaints whatsoever.
If you are new to sublimation I would urge you to go for a starter kit or get all your initial equipment and supplies from the same place so you know thay are all compatible.
I wouldn't get stuff from ebay etc until you have a little experience

Hi Ashley,
I would definitely recommend a startup package that includes training and tech support.
the Magic Touch does both very well, - and doubtless other companies too?
