Cutting Software?

So i have just built a brand new PC for the farther in-law to upgrade from the last one i built for him 10+ years ago. Anyway he does a little vinyl cutting on the side but the software he uses called Signblazer is old and dated now so i said i would ask around for something more up to date, thing is hes 50+ years old and hes not really sure what to look for, vinyl cutting is not my thing(im into sublimation printing)either so im in the same boat as him lol. I visit these forums a couple of times a week and know this is probably the best place to ask.

So yeah we are basically looking for vinyl cutting software that works with Windows 10 x64 .... Something not overly complicated. Any suggestions? What do you guys use?

What make of cutter is it and what programme does he design in?

I use Sure Cuts A Lot 4 (SCAL4) with a Silver Bullet cutter. Supports many different cutters and is well supported, with frequent updates. Handles SVG format well. It also has many design and editing tools and is very reasonably priced, with no licences or dongles to faff around with.

Sign blazer works fine with windows 10. I have it on 3 different systems.

Still works perfectly fine for the creation Pcut cutters.

I llove my signblazer, as Drew says works fine with windows10, no nag screens, would hate to think of having to learn something new.
