Just found this thread. Glad I did. We are looking at visiting Xpres next week to look at the UV printers. The local rep has been in and reccommended the LEF 200. It's still a bit pricey though. It maybe worth waiting until S&D in April to see what else is available. I don't know enough about these machines yet in regard of what happens if not run every day. etc. It's a big investment for us so want to make sure we make the right decision.

We have just purchased a Mimaki Ujf-3042HG. It was second hand fromCMYUK. we’ve been playing around with a few products on it and so far so good The machine is still under warranty and came with a kebab unit and a full set of inks so I think we got a good deal. Anyone else on here got a UV printer.

Looks like a nice machine, funnily enough I spoke with CMYUK y/day but regarding a new solvent/latex printer not UV

I'd still like the UV and have a growing market for it but too much outlay right now.

bought a 3042 fx from cmyuk ..only 6 channels not 8 like hg...so need to user primer by hand ...any idea about primer ??
