I'm new. Took over my parents print/Embroidery business last year when they retired. Trying to make a bit more of it than they did as they kept it more as a hobby.
Here for the advice and stress relief of knowing we're not the only ones with things going wrong!
Not too sure what else to say. [emoji487]

Good luck with your new venture, if you want to jump in the car / train we have a demo room set up down the road in Carlisle and Adam would be more than happy to go over things with if you need any help with anything.

Hi,
welcome to the site, - does your biz resonate with Jupiter's moons?
What kind of setup have you taken over? - What areas you thinking of growing into?
I have found this forum super useful and am sure you will too.

Hey, thanks!
My username actually isn't the business name, I'm a bit of a space nerd but couldn't quite squeeze that in to the business side of life. I've roped my boyfriend into this so we had to settle for something we could both agree on.

We have a fairly decent setup, when we 'took over' and moved out of my parents garage we had a pr600 Embroidery machine, graphtec vinyl cutter, heat press, Mug press and a4 Ricoh sublimation printer. We've added an a3 oki white toner printer to the mix and upgraded some of the more tired equipment, sold the old pr600 for a new happy machine which is working like a dream.

To be honest we're not really sure where we should focus, we're getting lots of one off bits from people just coming off the street but we'll need to get into some bigger places to keep going, there's lots of sports places around and that's where my parents originated so we're doing our best to get in there at the moment but I'm sure there's lots more we could be tapping into. Quite a lot of small businesses around here too.
My partner's an artist so we're hoping to get some custom from his network, they're already buying some of what we can do - we just need to let them know we can do it and be competitive enough.

Already glad I've found this forum, learning new things every day!
