Bad customer service or just bad luck?
Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
I don't know whether I'm unlucky or it's just because I am not classed as a big company that I keep on being treated poorly.
I ordered a heat press from Signzworld, it came damaged and appeared used. The customer service was a nightmare and it took nearly 10 days for the item to be collected and refunded.
Due to this, I thought I would try Dyesublimationsupplies.co.uk. I ordered another heat press (it was a budget range but it's all I can currently afford). So Im waiting in for delivery and nothing turns up. The email from them yesterday said that it was being shipped from the manufacture, as I paid for next day delivery I was expecting it today. I call up to find out where it is and no one knows. It's strange that I brought it from dyesub website but I then received notification of the order through a company called canvas and stretcher bars....who don't sell presses on their website.
Yet again, I'm left without my item and out of pocket. I'm sure if I was paying ££££'s they would be helping me out but it seems that customer service for the small business is really poor.

Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
Canvas and stretcher is an associated company of dyesublimation supplies and owned by the same people.
You say you are out of pocket....not really its just your goods haven't turned up yet. I'm not saying that their service in this instance is good, but they are a reputable company.

Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
Can I have the name of your supplier, mine always insist on payment before delivery.....
If I pay for something and don't receive it then I'm out of pocket. Let me break it down for you: I pay for goods with money in my pocket. I don't receive goods so check my pocket and find that I have no money. So im out of pocket.

Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
I now understand that about the company. I only knew that my purchase was from canvas stretcher bars when I received an email stating that the item is being sent from the manufacture. This email did not mention what the item was (it was one line). It was only til I googled it that I found both companies were linked. Personally to me, I find it a bit sneaky and the service poor. They interact on this forum (which is great) however when there is an issue their response is a bit lacking.

I don't know if you noticed mate but you had caps lock on....
Anyway there's no need to PM them as I was dealing with it on the telephone. I won't put anything on a forum unless I have attempted to solve the issue using the correct channels, I wasn't expecting your help to find my parcel but thanks anyway

I was just trying to reassure you that your money is safe. Your reply... a smart arsed comment. Maybe you should learn a little humility...if your lucky some day you may be able to afford professional kit.Coops;129770 wrote:Can I have the name of your supplier, mine always insist on payment before delivery.....

Good luck... I think you'll need it.
Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
I've used Canvas and Stretcher Bars / Dye Sublimation Supplies for 10 years and the service has always been faultless. A very friendly and helpful bunch.
What sort of mug press did you order and what time of day did you order it?

Re: Bad customer service or just bad luck?
I'd say very unlucky on both counts - I deal with both companies are both are excellent and their customer service fantastic. Just because it has a different name means nothing.
I hate to say it but, if you took the tone with them that comes across in your post - this might explain a lot.

Knowing your supplier and create that relationship is important to do good business in future. Dont forget that more you sell means they sell more. I hope you approached them over the phone better than on here
