Re: Anyone tried sublimation watches?

Post by Customprintwales »

Just browsing through Alibaba for next year's new items to sublimate and came across some nice looking sublimation watches.

Anyone tried these sorts of products. I'm just wondering about how fiddly and slow it will be in putting the watch together after printing the faces.

thanks

yeah, that's the concern I have - too many small bits likely to fly away.

I know day to day watch sales have fallen as everyone uses a smartphone now but dress watches for evening wear are still holding up - at least for men as an accessory.

Good post, I should have gone to YouTube to find a video.

Watching it suggests this could be quite a time consuming print and with the delicate parts a high rate of possible damage pieces. I think I might need to look at pricing to take into account the extra time and risks of failure.

Something for me to think about on Christmas Day when I'm snoozing after the turkey :)
