Ricoh 3110DN Pizza Cutter On Film

Hi all,

Has been posted around in a few other posts on here, but having real problems with one of our Ricohs with A5 film and pizza cutter dots, both white and black in the same spots on prints. This is on all prints not just block colours.

Have tried to locate certain rollers that might need cleaning but I cannot seem to find them, any help on how to resolve this would be great.

Ricoh has been working great on film for a couple of months then started with these dreaded dots, if no fix it will be the end of film printing on the Ricoh's I think.

Are there any thickness settings on the Ricohs? Also, if you reduce the print quality/change paper type do they still appear?

Yep, no line show on sublimation paper. Just film which is frustrating.

Prob down to the thickness of the film then.

Try printing on paper or card that you know is thicker than the film and see what you get.
