Mine was only a cheapo when we started 3 years ago and gets regular use. Its now started squealing loudly in use which wakes my 5 day old up.

What sorts are everyone using?

Old fashioned Stanley Knife (the cheaper version ) and metal ruler for me

Rototrim and it always squealed since I bought it I just put some silicon spray on the runner occasionally

I'll only show you mine if you show me yours first!

Actually, I'm using a cheap, 12 quid guillotine from ebay at the moment which is ample for cutting mug wraps etc.

I'm with Jennywren on this.

A simple knife from wilko and a ruler.

I do have a couple of trimmers laying around but by the time I've put the paper in and lined it up and cut it I've done twice as many with the knife :)

Interesting. Thanks for the comment. I have a Cathedral and it never seems to bloody cut straight either

An 18" Rexel CL120 guillotine (with the guard removed)..... superfast trimming, at least until I cut my fingers off.
