I have 2 Oki printers, always kept originals in 1 for transfers, not that I do many. I put compatibles in the other, never tried transfers through it yet but I bet they'd work just as well...at a fraction of the price!

The toners are more costly than the printer - even thou a new printer only comes with 30% full carts
Oki c610 for about £250
full set of original large toners about £450 - or around £150 for 3rd party ....

Anyone else?

Id like to know the answer to this as well.
Which compatables to buy and where to get them from.

its not just about the price, its completely to do with how well genuine & remanufactured toners compare & perform.
The toners state 6000 or 8000 pages.
OK - we know that is for a type page, not full colouur logos or photos, so lets say 1000 pages meaning toner per page ranges from 10p to 45p per per sheet.
Significant, but not as much as sacrificing quality, loosing customers, and having to replace garments ....

I supply cartridges along side the sub bits. New printers can come with as little as 10% in the setup/startup cartridges supplied. There should be no difference using reman/compat cartridges as its same cart, full of ink/toner. My advice to customers is "if it doesn't tell you how much is in it, forget it" A cartridge can be filled to any level required by supplier.

R. Prints, - are you saying that i will see NO DIFFERENCE - in original and your reman carts?
IE - accurate colours, and great toner adhesion to my laser transfere materials?

In my opinion there should be minimal change, if any. Sure others will have a different opinion.
