Whats the clear backing called that is applied to vinyl decals etc

Its Application tape if you mean the backing that is used to transfer the vinyl from its initial holding layer to the application tape before laying the vinyl decals onto its target surface.. This stuff is what I use https://www.xpres.co.uk/c-336-consumabl ... xpres.aspx

at a push you can use vinyl backing after pressing - works best with premium flex as the super fast are low tac
