What a day.....

Started of relatively decent, decided to go for a Sublisplash swap out kit for the 3110 after seeing Pauls videos - ordered.

Got home to find an order for some t shirts for a funeral,,, yup, for a funeral all highly coloured etc,, starts on that

Only to find that after 2 presses on sub t's that my press went down :( ARGGHHHHHHHHH

This was a cheapo that i bought to tide me over as the HP3805 that i was after from BMS was out of stock at that time.... jeez,,, should have waited until they were in stock, now got to fight to get my money back from a place i should know better not to use :(

Looks like the HP3805 will be ordered in the next week or so.

LESSON LEARNED - Buy cheap - Buy Twice (and prob loose a fortune) :)

Have a great night folks..

Hi disky, I'm sorry to hear you've had problems with a press, pleased to welcome you on board with the sublisplash, however after the first sentence I thought something had gone wrong with the ink or printer.

That HP3805 is a seriously ugly press though, they might want to smarten it up a bit.

I like the retro sci-fi look of it!
At the same time, PressMech presses aren't pretty but are great at what they do, but we are talking about industrial kit here, not domestic/consumer appliances.

Quite a difference in price on the cloned one,,,, buy one or buy three and have change. Interesting has anyone has long term experience of them. I like the Stahl's having seen them in action.

I have the BMS one and have had no issues with it. I admit it is not used 5 days a week 8 hrs a day but I have pressed the usual suspects, coasters, Tshirts, metal sheets and the such with no issues.
