Re: Sublisure inks

Post by paul 44 »

Hi folks

I've just bought some sublisure inks, greens are coming out brown and other greens are coming out blue, anybody else had this problem?

I've done 2 head cleans as my old inks (sawgrass) were expired and tanks empty.
Powerdriver was used as per spec, all colour profiles as per etc, i've never had this problem with sawgrass?

Looking on the isub web site it looks like you need to download there own ICC profile. Powerdiver is for Sawgrass inks.

Well I have printed a few coasters using these inks and it seems press time was the issue, I pre-heated the coasters and got not a bad print at all.

With regards to profiles. Isub supplies say it's just a case of banging in the new carts and off you go and continue printing which I did, I printed off a few mugs with these new inks using the powerdriver software and all seems good so far, nice, bright, vivid and sharp prints, I can't really see a difference between the 2 products, albeit, Sublisure is 15% cheaper so all good in my opinion!
