Hi Pete
I see your point re Paypal. Good spot on the link, I knew I had seen it somewhere but couldn't find it for looking.

I stopped send goods to customers to be collected at Argos a while ago. All the compaints I ever had were for items to be collected at Argos. So I wont use them any more.

I ditched argos delivery option after issues, I have had a similar one at the moment, customer not happy with item, even though it is exactly as described. Called ebay they called me back in less than 2 mins, went through the issue with them, they said that I was going above and beyond, and that they were putting a note on his file, as this was the 3rd time in a short while he has claimed for a refund for goods not as described. It would seem that sometimes they do protect us. Mind you we pay them enough every month for the pleasure.

I can see Click and collect being dropped from my offerings in about 30 seconds!

Did I read on Tamebay that a customer expected an Argos click and collect ebay purchase to be ready in two hours after purchasing? lol.

It wouldn't surprise me. The world appears to be filling up with people who have unreal expectations of others. I do find these people are the ones who fail to deliver anything that is expected from them. They have this sense of its their right to be entitled to anything they want, but not to be expected to do anything themselves.

Yeah, drop the Argos Click & Collect, it's just not worth the hassle. Some don't pick up their parcels for a week or more! We got rid of it a while ago and only post to the PayPal address, no matter what it says in ebay. If a customer messages us requesting delivery to a different address we politely decline and ask them to amend their PayPal details if they still want delivery from us. It's amazing how they suddenly agree to delivery to the original PayPal address!

Just noticed eBay have removed the negative feedback, so that's a good start.

Outcome was OK
Message from eBay.

"A case has been opened because the buyer has an issue with an item purchased from you. We reviewed the case and have decided to issue the buyer a refund of £xxxx without any impact to you.

This case is now closed. You aren't required to reimburse the buyer or eBay and this case will not be counted in your seller performance evaluation.

You can view the details of the case in the Resolution Centre."

That's OK then.
