Hehe, they haven't been giving kids presents for a very long time, only these more recent years.
They come from old Icelandic tales and they are the sons of the trolls Grýla and Leppalúði and they didn't give people stuff they would steal it and be quite nauseating.

But it's nice to be able to make the best out of the worst, it's a shame some 5 year olds can't work a deep fryer :D
I remember the shame related to get a potato, not the Pez dispenser I had been wanting.
But 12 more tries

Hi Isak and welcome to the forum :D

I'm afraid to say I must have been a bit naughty today as I'm sat here with a packet of crisps

I've met a few lads from Iceland during my rallying days & what a great bunch they all were.

Ian :D

I think that would be best, I have no idea how to explain how to say that in writing, English writing that is.

Icelandic can be a little strange at times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jq-sMZtSww

It's a difficult language :)

We met up with an Icelandic family whilst on holiday in Sweden. Still not sure which nationallity is the most outrageous - Swedes or Icleandics :o :D  I know we'll have to go back to Sweden again next year to reach a decision :P
