Epson 1500 W Cityink Express ??

I have Been looking at getting a Epson Printer -maybe the 1500w- for use with Neenah het transfer paper. I wanted a kiss system and was going to order from Cityink Express have called several times and no answer at all...are they still trading ? They don't seem to have posted on social media for some time either ?

Any other place I can get this or similar

A few posts about City Ink on here recently. I used them a few years back and they were always good. upset a few folk when they changed subli ink supplier and didn't tell users who subsequently mixed the inks! eek. I've heard a few people mentioned phones not getting answered recently as well.

Thanks for the info....Hmmm Glad I didn't place an order on the website just incase they have gone out of buisness or something. Also no good if I can't get hold of them if a problem occurs.

I had a similar thought about the 1500w recently.

Box.co.uk £235.00, a week later £265, a week later £295, now at £360! That will teach me to hesiate and decide to wait til the end of the month.

However they are adament they have stock for next day shipping or collection in Birmingham store.

Everyone else i tried suddenly shifted to no stock, i tried calling CityInkExpress over about 4 days, including early morning, lunch and late, never received an answer. Decided wasnt worth the risk.

There are some sellers on ebay with CISS and this model, but again prices are starting to soar so dont think about it too long.

I was looking at epson 1500w too, for occasional a3 sublimation. None of the main sublimation sellers have it that i looked at.
They only have the sawgrass a3 which is well over a grand.

ink-system.co.uk lists the epson 1500w but without sublimation ciss setup

Any other options for a3 sublimation package ?

The 1500W was heading out of stock everywhere when I bought mine last September from Debenhams for £222. People were raving about an eBay seller doing a complete CISS system with it, but I couldn't see it after a quick search.

Thanks. Looks like the seller sold out. He sold 82 of em !
There was a website too but again no stock.

Amazon.co.uk would let me order one (epson 1500w £275) but i'd be looking at delivery of 1 to 2 months !
plus i would need the ciss kit from cityink express @£113

Sigh .. really wish that Sawgrass A3 was cheaper!
