printer not recognising cartridges.

Hi Guys

I'm using a Epson B40W but every so often during printing it spits paper out and shows error saying "cartridge not recognised" it's different cartridges everytime sometimes all of them.

how do i stop this happening as it is wasting ink and paper and slowing me down when doing orders.

I have press chip reset on cartridge and then turned printer back on but does nothing.

Suonds to me as though the cartridges are moving slightly in the printer - possibly because there not VERY FIRMLY inserted. Push them in hard so they click into place.
