I don't think the student version allows you to interface with Cutting Master?

Not sure but just a thought.

I have just downloaded the subscription version of Corel and that won't work with cutting master but the trial version of x7 does

I've just bitten the bullet and upgraded to X8. Corel wanted £600 (They will knock 50% off this though) but I bought from the US for around £150, full commercial boxed version. I've always worked well with X4 but needed the cutting master to work directly.

I'll send you over the eBay auction I bought it on. I think it was £153, plus taxes etc. it still came in under £200. There's a slight issue installing X8 that I am now aware of! It tells you to remove all previous versions but even once you have it still fails. It appears you have to remove Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, install X8 and then reinstall Visual....just in case anyone has this issue!
