Hi all.
Before I spend a load of money, please could someone tell me how close I can get to the handle (reliably) with an Adkins Studio mug press?
And can I do top-to-bottom prints without pre-heating the base of the mug?
The guy I spoke to at Xpres was dubious about both... and their bone china mug template only goes 2/3rds of the way round the mug!
Thanks for any sage advice...

The Xpres 5013 mug is the one of the few mugs that doesn't require pre-heating as it's quite a sturdy mug. I've got bone china mugs, but I've never done full top to bottom, sorry.

Full top to bottom is more about the straightness of your mugs. I always avoid top to bottom wherever possible, putting a 5mm gap top and bottom which works well with the gap around the handle.

Justin and GoonerGary - thanks! Can I ask how close you can get to the handle? And does the 5mm gap avoid the need to pre-heat the bases?
