Re: Colours have faded with new Ricoh printer...Orders to despatch!

Post by Tyce Tyce Baby »

Morning folks - I hope you can help me,

I use a Ricoh 3110 DN and have no issues printing hundreds of mugs.

I've recently had to have it replaced (like for like) as it was faulty.

Continued to print out my usual transfers and this is what's happened.

I've double check that I've got the paper in the right side up. Nothing else has changed - mugs, press, pressing time etc is the same. The inks look identical.

Any help greatly appreciated - I have a backlog of orders to get out. Our usual mug on the le
ft in the pic and the new one on the right,

Many thanks,

Helena

Have you had any decent prints since the printer was replaced? How does nozzle check look?

Always worth checking all settings against those on Sawgrass support website. i appreciate nothing has changed but just in case, check everything through, then check again...then get SG to dial in and check! I'm assuming you're using SG inks?

What mug press are you using? Are you able to check consistency across the blanket with an infra red gun? I don't think it's your press but again, worth a check.

What paper are you using?

If you have changed printer, even like for like, I think you'll need to reinstall or assign the profile to the printer.
