Re: Colours faded
Hello, I have just bought a 3d heat press - ST2042. I am using the same paper, ink and mugs as I used in my old mug press, all worked fine. But in this heat press the colour is really faded. I used the recommended settings 200c for 6 mins for 1 mug, and 195c for 6 minutes for 1 plate, and I got the same results with both. It's as if the ink hasn't fully transferred... Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong. I know paper, ink and mugs are fine as I've been using them for a couple of years and they have been perfect.. Thanks in advance.

I don't own a vacuum press, but I believe you have to press the heat switch TWICE to turn on both top and bottom heating elements.
Maybe someone with more knowledge will be along soon though.

Thanks for replying. It turns out the vacuum wasn't working properly for the plates, so that's now fixed, and I set the time for longer, its all good now. So if anyone else has this problem, my settings are plates: 200c for 8 mins, and mugs 200c for 8.5 mins.webtrekker;124288 wrote:I don't own a vacuum press, but I believe you have to press the heat switch TWICE to turn on both top and bottom heating elements.
