Re: Transfer Printing

Post by rossikey »

I have done my first transfer print tonight and really pleased with the result..Thanks to everyone who was advising me on paper.

Just one question....Once the transfer is on , can you then re heat it to add names or anything or is it best to do it whilst doing the transfer, only i notice on ebay people seem to have tshirts with pics on and then say can be personalised...

Does this mean they just press the name on afterwards ?

Many Thanks

You can do this or do it all at the same time. If you have the design on your pc then adding a name before printing is no problem and then enables you to print everything on one go.

Thats great it's just i always thought u could never iron the transfers once on, so surely heating them again would ruin it..

Or do i need to cover it with silicon sheet or teflon

I'd cover a transfer to save it sticking to the press, if pressing again :)
