Re: Royal Mail Printer

Post by technick »

Up until now i have been using PPI stickers off Ebay which are linked to my OBA account, but would like to use a thermal printer which will include the address and postage on one sticker.

Does anyone use any other printer beside the Dyno which is currently just short of £200? I know RM used to provide templates, not sure if it is still possible to use these.

Cheers:)

Are you still staying with OBA or moving to Despatch Manage Online and using Royal Mail's supplied thermal printer?

I print staight onto ordinary paper and use a see through sticky envelop, save a tone of money on labels, dispatch notes etc.

I'm using OBA at the moment and quite happy with it (eBay stickers with my HQ number) but just want everything on the one piece of sticker (address and HQ number). James, do you use an official template from Royal Mail? Read up that these were no longer allowed.

Yes I ise the OBA and I used to use eBay stickers, but found them too expensive and you had to order a lot. So as I said I print straight onto the section where the address is on a plain sheet of paper.

Nope I do not use any Post Office template, just the one I made for myself.

I am just going to start printing using the barcodes, as I was sent them on Monday, after I complained that I was contacted in March, filled in all the paperwork and then heard nothing more!!
