Re: Efficiently uses of eBay

Post by daniboy0812 »

Hi guys

another post in search of ways to speed up my printing - got 2 new presses coming so thats sorted!!

anyone like to comment how they run through their eBay v paypal to get all details req?

paypal is very slow so extracting address details in time consuming.

my routine is to print, in mass, 3 to a page A4 on tru pix paper then trim up designs ready to print. Tape all designs to mugs & press all!!

Once pressing i'm cooling down mugs & taping up more. Once all are printed my nightmares start (av 30-40 per day at the moment)

Printing address labels via seiko label printer that speeds the process versus writing them all out by hand.

Paypal slows me down too much so how can i speed up the process more?

any hints & tips will be greatly appreciated

generally ebay does'nt tie in with the paypal as people dont pay in paypal when they 'buy' in ebay so you get a mix of the order.

but have just worked it out - use the email that paypal sends to extract details - email notifications & ebay invoices are in order of payment so info can be collated from these sources

I'm a ruddy genius!! Just feeding back if anyone else not worked it yet :ugeek:

I always go with the paypal confirmation of payment email, as you should always be sending to that addy to be eligible for seller protection, but if you're not sending recorded, it doesn't really matter which address you use

I can see how you can use the paypal email for the address but surely your still going to have to print the payment page out for each individual order directly from paypal. Without doing this your business books or banks are never going to balance to the invoices you're issuing as these pages include the paypal charges taken off at source and your invoice won't.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree
