Re: Ink
You have a duty of care and, let's be honest, an ethical responsibility, to dispose of ink in a controlled and safe manner.
Your best bet is a supermarket. Most these days have ink recycling boxes. The alternative is to contact the manufacturer of the ink and ask them as they also have a duty of care to provide details, although most don't bother.
Some local schools also recycle ink as you can get money for it. It might be worth ringing round to see if they are doing it.
Lastly, your local recycling centre (rubbish dump) will almost certainly have an ink depository.
Glad to see you are taking a responsible stand on this issue, most just lob ink carts in the bin which is so bad for everyone, and to be honest, quite selfish!

Re: Ink
If we're talking about a waste tank - are you wanting to empty the tank to reuse, or to dump the tank and buy a new one?
What kind of ink are we talking - is it water based ink, or a solvent ink?
Does the ink manufacturer have any advice on the ink bottles with regards to environmental concerns and/or disposal?
