Setting up My Ricoh 3300
Re: Setting up My Ricoh 3300
Browning results from too hot and too long. Is this on mugs?
If so then take temp down by 10 and time back by 20.

Don't know what press you have but if the print looks good before pressing - press at 160 degrees @ 165 mins and see what happens. I've got a ricoh 5050n and, just to save a bit time, have brought the timings right down to the above and have excellent results on an ebay cheapy press . This is with xpres paper (BMS is the same but cheaper).

I have just done the mug at 165 for 150 secs and the happens. Still not proper black but the fairy mug in purple looks fab. Just strange. Perhaps its the logo i have been sent.John G wrote:Don't know what press you have but if the print looks good before pressing - press at 160 degrees @ 165 mins and see what happens. Just from word as with the ricoh you you can print from there, thats why i changed from the epson d120 as this will be more easier to use and do things. he said u could print from word. cant get to grips with photoshop etc. everything else looks good apart from black. Just done some lovely purple fairy ones for a kids party and they are great all the colours fab.

Haven't got a clue with the 3300 but i'd be surprised if it is compatable with word. (Martin please advise)

Same here, not sure about this but I would assume that is only when you're using the Powerdriver? Will be very tricky working from Word, CorelDraw or Photoshop are a must imo
