I haven't done much with garment vinyl before. I've bought some small samples of Hotflex from MDP and it works well with my equipment.

I now need to order some in black and white and see that, for 500mm width rolls, it works out at around £10 per square metre. Is this what most of you are paying, or are there any cheaper variants as good as Hotflex available from other suppliers? It's only for a small run of 17 t-shirts and tote bags for a hen party.

Thats a good price. No idea what MDP is but I think it gets good reviews on here. I pay about the same over here for Polytape or Chemica material.
If you think about it, you will probably get 8 to 10 t-shirts out of a Sq mtr. A pound to one fifty per shirt is ok I think. Plus t-shirt , of course. Tote bags cost 50p too.

Thanks Earl.

Not having had much experience with garment vinyl, I was just wondering what others considered a reasonable price.

I use the 123 Flex from TMT.

From what I remember it was about the cheapest I could find for my needs at about £4 per meter. 3 second press and hot or cold peel made it pretty useful for me.

And as a side issue I think they are about to do a promotion on black or white 123 flex or premium flex which might make it even tastier.

Check out Siser sold by Grafitype as well. Nice vinyl and knowing Grafitype it's probably around the right price

I currently use hotflex from MDP and I think it's really good. With my limited time using vinyl I have used a few different brands but find the hotflex to be the best. With regards to price, there are a few places where vinyl costs less however MDP have a great colour selection and varying types so they seem the best (so far....). I have had issues with them though, every order I have placed has been wrong which has been a massive inconvenience.
