Hi all, hopefully somebody can help me ...
I have a Ricoh SG 3110DN printer, whenever i try to print im getting very faint horizontal lines in my prints, ive tried cleaning/flushing the heads multiple times, tried realigning the heads & paper tray yet still have these very faint lines? Could it be the the refillable ink cartridges themselves?
Anybody got any ideas? anything i could try to fix this?
Thank you.

What brand of ink and paper are you using? Are your nozzle checks coming out ok? We need more details to be able to help you.
Re: Ricoh SG 3110DN
Hi, thanks for your reply. To be honest the ink is cheap stuff ... Just says the colour on. On the nozzle checks both the yellow and magenta have broken lines, the yellow is much worse however. I have tried cleaning the heads multiple times wit no luck.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: Ricoh SG 3110DN
Is the ink definitely sublimation ink? May be better to replace the ink with something more suitable. I use City Ink Express inks myself in my Ricoh SG3110DN, but if money isn't a concern then maybe try Sawgrass, but remember that you will use a LOT of ink flushing the lines again.

Hi, yes its defiantly sublimation ink, when i said "Just says the colour on" it does actually state its sublimation ink just its has no brand. I have heard of City Ink Express inks, ill buy a batch of them, flush the lines, hopefully this resolves the issue.webtrekker;122583 wrote:Is the ink definitely sublimation ink? Faulty head if printing broken on the test if you've tried cleaning, they can clog but running cleans should eventually sort that, sometimes running cleans then leaving it 12 hrs and doing them again can help and dislodge blockages
