Refine EH721

Hi all, I have the Refine EH721 (I think). I down loaded the free version of signcut which worked great. I've had the reminder that the free trial has run out so tried paying and downloading the full programme. It asked me which cutter I had which I filled in but it wont cut. No action at all. I've even tried another free software trial but it wont detect my cutter.

Are you on Windows, or Mac?

Check that the cutter has been detected in your USB ports (or serial port if it uses a serial connection).

BTW, reading up on the net, it seems that this cutter is supplied with a cheapo USB cable that has caused communication problems for many users. Try a quality cable connection directly to your computer (not through an external hub).

Thanks WT. Got it going eventually. Yes the lead that come with it is a blue shiny thing. I will order a better lead straight away. Just need to get my head round how signcut wirks out its sizes. I put 80mm tall in and it came out massive lol
