A 1 person mug oven that claims it can do 200 an hour. I am not 100% convinced in that, but still, quite a nifty item and quite cheap.

Ummmm..... the surface rotates. It is a conveyor style. Put mugs in on left and it goes around in a circle to come out on the right. They showed me it last year at the show on a video as was only prototyped then. Offered me a deal on taking g this one home with me from the show but it was litteraly a case of unplug it and off I go. As you said, it is quite big and the end of trade shows like that are a nightmare. Didn't think the risk was worth it especially as I have slight doubts.

They had a manual mug taping machine in the first video for this which was quite good. Don't think it is online anymore though.

I don't think moving it would be that much of an issue, just get a specialist in to do it,

I did see a movie of the mug wrapper though and thought that was utterly pointless. You still need to wrap and tape the printed sheet so all it does is clamp.

You haven't seen my guys putting the wraps on though. Doesn't seem all humans evolved to have opposable thumbs unfortunately for me. That little bit of kit would solve that issue.

I think you would need to use their clamps as well. I didn't pay too much attention to the clamps but over engineered sprang to mind.

Wasn't that bothered by the Rotator after all. I think a true tunnel oven would be the way for me but Hix are very expensive....... especially as I will be getting the wallet to make a rare fleeting visit into the open air.

Resolute UV. To be honest, not that impressed where it takes the others out of the market such as Roland and Mimaki. Not saying it is not good but still 20k plus vat for a fairly small print area. Great value for money on the new Resolute DTG though which I was tempted on surprisingly. I still like the LEF300 but know you hate Roland. I actually came away ready to buy a Mimaki but will probably do a factory visit and work lots of figures out on viability. It was one of the very large flatbeds though I was leaning toward where you get huge capacities through. Also, the Mimaki print and cut for sublimation I want to look at.

Think I need to go and lay down with the thought of all that spending.

Same here, was really impressed with the speed of the faster machine as well.

I still like the LEF300 but know you hate Roland

I love Roland machines, just not Roland people. I think they are arrogant arses where nothing is their fault. Having said that, I have not looked that closely at the LEF purely based on the price tag of the machine. I just think it is way over the mark.

I didn't look at the Mimaki stand as I have already researched that machine, may look at them again with the print and cut sublimation machine. That sounds interesting.

RASmart told me to look at the Mimaki for sublimation but haven't done so yet. As it has the cut function it holds a bit of interest but not sure on the speed then. Some of the Mimaki machines are over engineered for UV same as Roland etc which helps them justify the price. The big one just has the print head and flatbed.
