Re: Sponsorship

Post by Mugshots »

Hi all.
On the 29th of April me and 3 hiking buddies are doing Scafell pike, Englands tallest mountain for Samuels charity. Samuel was 9 years old when he lost his fight in hospital to a rare blood cancer. In his last few months Samuel started his charity to help children like him and their families. The charity purchases things like fridges for kids rooms which are not supplied by the hospital, machines that help nurses etc find hard to see childrens veins when inserting canulas etc, build play rooms with games, play stations and other stuff to try and bring a touch of normality back to a terminally ill childs life.

We are basically after business sponsors for a spot on the Tshirts we will be wearing on the day. If we get a few involved it will be 1 spot but all the pics will be on facebook, instagram and twitter so will be well seen.

More details on the charity can be found here: www.samuelscharity.co.uk

Or we can be sponsored here: www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/scafellpikesummit

Literally every little helps so if you do sponsor us please tick the gift aid box.

Im in no way new to this having done Snowdon twice (one time with 4 foot of snow past the halfway house) Ben Nevis last September and many other hills on between. We are doing a practice hike at the end of march up Cadair Berwyn which Im really looking forward to as not done that before.

So yeah, any sponsor money will be extremely gratefully received

Thank you.

Thanks a lot. It really is a special charity and having an 8 year old boy myself it really hit home. I first read it all at work and sobbed like a kid.

We have 2 granddaughters aged 5 and 6 and always think how devastated we'd be if anything bad happened to them.

we get asked ... probably EVERY DAY ... if we can sponsor ..... a very worthy cause.....
How does a business decide?
Logobear have 1 or 2 standing charities...... we cannot support them all, and we cannot allow ourselves to become distracted from our primary business.
Our 1st shout goes to those we are connected to.
Our customers causes, staff, friends, local.
It can be a challange to say, 'sorry, I will give you my best price, - but I cannot sponsor/give for free'
But you have to.
I hope you find support, and you raise an interesting forum issue that I am sure nearly all of us have been asked.
what do you do?

Ok, moving on with this. I'm now after someone to sponsor us by providing 3 white sports style (breathable) T shirts. Anyone interested in doing this for their name on our T's?
