Re: Non-standard sized sublimation blanks

Post by AtterySquash »

Hello,

I have a design for a jigsaw that I want to print that is a non-standard size so I am researching the best way to do this. I keep almost finding the answer but can't quite get there. Any advice would be very welcome!

Is there any supplier who would provide sublimation blanks either cut to my requested size or not cut (the master board I think it is called). The blanks that they use for placemats would be perfect or for jigsaws before they are die-cut (cardboard or hardboard), if only I could get them in the right dimensions.

I have been researching Digi Coat. I get the impression that this is a bit of a last resort as it is a faff to use.Does anyone have advice on using Digi Coat or similar on plywood/hardboard?

I have also been researching heat transfer paper (by Yolo specifically: http://www.yolo.co.uk/techni-print-hard ... 9125-p.asp). Would this work on plywood, or would plywood not be light enough? What could I use to lighten it first?

Many thanks for your help.
