Re: Mug press problems
Is the machine plugged in? Is it at the correct temp? Are you using sublimation inks? Are your mugs suitable for sublimation?
We really need some info from you before we can help to diagnose the problem. Start by giving us details of your system, type of press, printer, inks, paper and so on.

Yes the machine is plugged in set the heat at 200 degrees centigrade and time 180 I have done medium pressure, and hard pressure the mugs are from X press the paper from incityepress the printer brand new from Epson it is an ET2500
Re: Mug press problems
it prints out on the sublimation paper but there is no transference onto the mug also the inks are the ones that come with the printer you have to fill up resivwareJustin;120465 wrote:...and the inks? are you getting anything printing at all?

Re: Mug press problems
Where did you buy the printer? It doesn't sound like you have sublimation inks to me. Even if the press was too cool or mugs were faulty etc. you'd still get something....it all points to your inks.
Re: Mug press problems
The ink came with the printer you have to fill them yourself in the side one the printer
Re: Mug press problems
Could I please ask what is the difference between the ink that came with the printer and sublimation ink I thought that if it was a self fill then the ink would be OK .

Re: Mug press problems
You have standard ink supplied with that printer and should be using specific dye based sublimation ink. Might be worth having a good read through the forum as you'll find we have all the info. you could wish for.
You'll need to source the ink, I'd personally advise you look at the startup Ricoh package as this is by far the easiest route to get you started with minimal knowledge.
