Which couriers are people using and are they priced by weigh and or box dimensions?

I'm planning on turing myself into a millionaire ££££££££££££ next year and hope to be sending lots of boxes out but not too familiar with any couriers

Yeah,
Cover the UK. Limits on size (calculable on their site) and weight up to 15kg but they pretty well cover all my needs. Bloody reasonably priced too!!

I use a combination of RM (for <2Kgs) and [url="http://www.p4d.co.uk]http://www.p4d.co.uk[/url] DHL service (£8.21inc VAT for up to 30Kg). You can pick from any number of couriers that suit your need, and you get cheaper prices if you send multiple parcels in the same collection.

I like their prices and was just about to consider them for low-weight items, but I Googled them. Up comes lots and lots of complaints...

I know it's easier to complain than to praise but, all things considered, I'm going to stick with what I know.

Thanks for your replies guys, I will be looking into them all now. We will be sending boxes of out tees to other retailers so I suppose I need to be looking at something up to 30 kgs.
That is hoping I get some oders of course. We are doing a trade show with our tees in Jan, time will tell but i'll have tyo have all these pricing startergies in place.

Hi Mandy! I always use myhermes to and i love they service! cheap, no need for sign on delivery so is £1 saved if you dond need it. Also when you order collectioon you dont need to be at home you just tell them where you stached your parcel and they go and fish it out for you all you do is "green house - back garden" and job done .

never ever had a problem with them. I am sick of dhl and other big names keep missing dates etc... I stick with myhermes.

If you're going to be sending out daily then you should get quotes from the bigger players, dhl, Parcelforce, fedex, ups etc. You should get good rates but they depend on volume. Then they'll call to collect from you at specific times. Any courier will miss deliveries sometimes, but some offer compensation if they fail to deliver within the time frame (assuming a delivery wasn't attempted). There's lots to consider as well as price and you'll never really know about the service until you try it.

We tried dhl once - good rates but they have 'business' and 'home' addresss. Home addresses have until 8pm delivery slots. So for some of our customers ordering for next day del could have waited until 8pm to get their goods. Not good for businesses operating from home
