Re: double mug press
Ok. So, bought this press from Coralgraph. Had it within 24 hours.
So far got 2 problems.
1) Temp and time set to 180 but cant get actual temp to go higher than 170?
2) When loosening or tightening the press's nothings happening. This is due to the tightening nut just travelling backwards and forwards on either its own spindle or the spindle attached to the heat wrap. So much so the left heat wrap as just fell apart and is now detached from the arm.
Why is this happening?
Also when it gets to 170 it beeps, I put the mug in but when the temp drops right down as it should it carries on beeping, then beeps all the time back up to 170 and still beeps after that. I knew the instructions would be vague but Jeez.

Re: double mug press
1) The resting temp will be set at 170°C, to change it press and hold the green button with the gear on it (settings) until it beeps this brings up the resting temp, you should be able to change it from there.Mugshots;119719 wrote:Ok. So, bought this press from Coralgraph. Had it within 24 hours.

2) Our press that Adam uses to do our printing on does that too, it's not supposed to though but he uses a small spanner to hold the nut in place while making adjustments.
Re: double mug press
Hi thanks for your reply. I'm happy with the "resting temp" it just doesn't seem to go higher when a mug is inserted to heat up.

Re: double mug press
Once you close the wrap on the mug are you pressing the blue timer button to start the cycle? If you don't press the blue button it will just warm up to the resting temp. If you are already doing that I'd get in touch with the supplier.
