Re: Adkins heat press display unit

Looking to sell my trusty Adkins, display is faulty, doesn't really matter as it's just a couple of the display leds but I'd like it to be 100% before selling.

I checked with Adkins a while ago and I think they were about £100+vat.

Does anyone know anywhere else to source a display unit?

It'll be £400-£500 if I sell. Unusually I have the original packing box complete for safe shipping but these are very heavy units. Will be posting here if for sale.

I don't think Adkins sell their display units to anyone else. We had a replacement for a mug press a couple of weeks ago and did the rounds of calling companies but no one held parts stock. I must say though that the latest control unit for the studio mug press is SO much better than older ones. The timer count goes quicker the longer you hold the button down and no more needing to hold the save button - it just remembers the last setting. At last! Pun defo intended.
Ps: We have just picked up a second hand Adkins Maxi (sorry Justin otherwise would of grabbed yours) and if it helps the cheapest courier is TNT Direct and is around £50 for up to 50kg.

Just switched the press on as it's not been used in a while and found it's only one section of a digit not working so really not a problem and not worth fixing.
