Re: Laminated photo blocks, acrylics etc.
Following on from my cold laminator thread......
Does anyone make their own photo blocks, acrylic photo sheets etc. using a laminator? I was looking at the kit on canvas and stretcher bars but I can't get responses to my emails so a bit reluctant to buy.
Also found a different laminator which looks ok here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wide-Format-C ... 3641.l6368
Just looking for suppliers of the blocks etc. really.

Find a laser cutting specialist . Buy in 50mm cast acrylic sheet, or get whoever laser cuts them for you to buy it in They will get a better rate than you if they process acrylic on a regular basis.
Thats the cheapest way to do it if you want to buy in a few.

Got quotes for 20mm. Is there much difference in suppliers of laminate/pressure laminate etc? Quality wise?

I've held off for now, don't really need one for the blocks I'm doing. Samples should be through this week, taking there time!

Laser cutter? Drop me a PM if you have an idea on prices, I'm getting what I think are very good prices and may start to sell as well.
