sublimation or vinyl

hello all I'm a house wife from east sussex whilst looking after the kid thought I could do extra with my time so thought of doing custom t shirts uniforms etc but my question is
sublimation printing only seems to be good for white clothing and needs to be polyester

or do I have to buy a massive vinyl cutter

as some guys want their business printed on their back and needs to be hard wearing and not come off

I'm guessing sublimation is the way forwards as I'm not going to be able to put it on cotton clothing or will just distort in no time ?

Heat transfers or vinyl for dark colours..... it won't come off if you use the proper kit.
