Look at the mug behind the ashtray and where the print is....

Maybe that's preprinted at source, the same way you can get sublimation mugs with red rims and handles?
Intrigued by the colour-in mugs - does the customer buy one with a set of sublimation markers, and then put them in their kitchen oven to fix the inks?

I would assume it is what Pisque says. Preprinted inner.

Tried the markers a while back as we have done named mugs at trade for years. When you can't cover every name thought that a design with patch left for name would be ideal. Worked to a certain extent but open to problems. Ovens being different could mean some get too much heat and end up blurring original print. Need low temp pens to not have any effect which hopefully they might be.

I did think the thread was going to be Social asking if anyone else fancied going along!

I had a hunt round their website and could not find anything for these, preprinted or otherwise. You guys are probably correct, particularly when you consider that I can not think of any mug coatings that are inside as well as out. Never seen the colouring in mugs either, to be honest, not really my market but might be useful for some, particularly if you could print your own design on there first.

Sorry Andrew, no more room on the private jet, you get first refusal though.... :-)
