Keen to know what is the difference between film and paper sublimation esp. with regards to output.
Thanks
3D Sublimation Using Film
Re: 3D Sublimation Using Film
I started off with film. It's very expensive but no need to wrap. It also moulds to the shape of your substrate. So it is much quicker.
It is supposed to give a better finish too.
BUT My 3D machine just isn't suited to it and I ended with such a high scrap rate (especially on dark colours) that I switched to paper.
I sold some of my film but still have a load left which I'll sell when I get round to it.

Hi buddy what UV printer u use ??..it can't do the edges and corners like sublimation 3d right ??..I love to have a UV flatbed as it seems less hassle and more options ...membrane;102914 wrote:No problem and good luck. We no longer are in the sublimation business, we switched over to UV flatbed printing. Much easier without all the headaches that comes with sublimation.
