I passed at this point

"I'm looking to form a business partnership with a DECENT mug printing company (or one-man band)."

Just didn't quite sit right with me. However, when the partnership goes on to print 1000's of mugs a week I may well go "Doh!"

Yeah, business is business, as they say, but I don't think I'd like to form a business partnership either with anyone like that. The best way to find a 'DECENT' mug printing business is to politely ask them for samples, which I'm sure anyone after more business would happily oblige with.

I had thought that my response to his initial post would have made him think about the way that he'd written it, but it obviously didn't.

If that's the best way someone could find to express themselves when looking for a "business partner" they'd not be doing business with me.

I suspected that it was a wind-up, and the fact that he's not responded to genuine enquiries reinforces that view...
