I went for a 710mm Cutter from the same buyer in the end - not this exact one but A TC Series Version (a little quieter and larger memory etc).
I had a quick play with it the other 'night' - I say night as it was 1am, two nights before we opened the shop and I was busy producing some demo blanks - as I was waiting I thought i'd have a quick look at it.
Anyway, about 2 hrs later I was still looking at it - not too intensely I might add as I was watching my press and looking at the 'chinenglish' manual.
Anyway, it was a little 'harder' to set and and go that the old (and trust worthy) craft robbo - requiring you to manually select where the cutter is in your device manager. There was an instruction manual with it and also some mpeg files on a disc to view how to do it. The seller also gave me his details if I needed help setting it up - but, vista worked a charm and found it automatically for me (I just selected the com port once done).
Then I went to cut the test vinyl (after I figured out where the blades went
So, I haven't had time to go back to it yet ................ shop now open, craft robbo on overdrive!
I might give the 'support guy' a ring on Monday to see what settings I should have it on ............... but overall, it 'looks' like what I required. Oh, and I got flexi-starter with it (had to pay a little extra), again this is something that I need to master.
Have you got one of these then Kaz? If so .......................... what settings are you using?

Re: Larger Vinyl Cutter Required?
I've got mine set to 60g I think it is for normal vinyl, not done any flock with it yet, as like you, screwed it up the first time
I can cut rhinestone templates with mine, with the gemtec stencil film, with the pressure at 450g, and it gives a perfect cut every time
And I use signcut pro (which came with the cutter), after I've manipulated the image/text in corel.
If you get stuck with it Andy wil help you out, he's a really nice huy, though can sometimes be a PITA to get hold of
