How to flush a printer? (Ricoh3110)

Hi,

I've recently bought a second hand printer, and have been advised that it may need flushing. I have heard people talk of this, but I have no idea how.

It has Fotorite inks in the cartridges that come with it, and some fotorite inks left in the bottles. All help would be appreciated, thanks!

Use deionized water and empty refillable carts to flush the system
You should also check the ink collector waste tank - you can empty these rather than just replace them.
