Found out that TMT papers can only be used with colour laser printers. Mono printers burn the toner at too hot a temperature. Annoying that I have to pay scary £500 toner prices just to print black.

You don't

For example, you can get a OKI 301 at about £100.00. It will work and will do what you require. However it will jam on about 5-10% on the paper which has to be factored in. You can also purchase third party toner for this machine which will make it cheap as chips.

TMT do sell an CMYK OKI which is £300 and toner is £72.00 per colour. However your CMY will last for ages as you are not using it. So the only colour you will need to constantly replace is black (this is the route I personally would take).

£127 plus the vat for the OKI colours. No doubt someone will ask for a colour design, so maybe I'll have to dig deep, cheers.
