I'm looking for a supply of 7 - 10 oz natural coloured cotton tote bags, organic or standard. I can't see a supply in the UK other than promotional companies.

BTC Activewear have loads of tote bags. I've tried their Westford Mill ones and they're cheap and cheerful.

Cheers, just found Westford Mill, they've got heavier ones which look good.

If you are after box quantities you can get them from one of Neil Brothers sites....... bagsforlife.

Thanks, do you know if Neil Brothers send samples or do I have to spend £300?

Don't think he is overly keen on messing around with samples as he deals with the higher volume end of the trade historically. Neil is straight forward and might be able to help if you ask. His stock is shipped from a fulfillment warehouse I believe which is what makes it awkward for smaller orders and samples. I only have ever bought pallet loads off him but when I tried the bags I added them onto some mugs I was getting. Bags weren't something I continued with though.

Direct Trade Bags are the cheapest and best quality in my humble opinion. They will probably send samples, but MOQ will be a box of bags which is 200 (about 40p each I think).

I don't mind the cartons, but don't want to be stuck with them either, you know the score...

That's what I like about BTC they don't do minimum order, one price from one upwards.
They also have a brand called JASSZ where price for natural cotton totes are from 39p
