Re: Magic Touch HD METAL vs Chromaluxe
Anyone use TMT HD Metal rather than Chromaluxe? If so, how does it compare? I assume it's a different product. I usually order through Xpres but out of stock so looking at alternatives.
Re: Magic Touch HD METAL vs Chromaluxe
Xpres do appear to be very hit and miss with the stock they hold of all sorts of things!

I find Xpres are getting worse. I used to order lots from them as they are only 10 mins up the road but always out of stock. It was coasters yesterday, mugs on more than a few occasions. I now buy from other suppliers

Xpres coasters back in today by the way and word on the street is that all supplier prices are about to shoot up with all this currency madness going on so I guess companies like us are stocking up more so than normal to save a few pennies.
Re: Magic Touch HD METAL vs Chromaluxe
It's thicker than Chromaluxe at 1.4mm, whereas Chromaluxe is 1.12mm, also it only appears to be one colour/finish option, which I'd assume to be white.

Yes only in white and single sided, I made some enquiries about their metal at the start of the year.
Re: Magic Touch HD METAL vs Chromaluxe
Standard Chromaluxe is only officially one sided, but the reverse side does have some level of polyester based coating, as it does print quite well - is the MagicTouch stuff the same?

Nope and they won't do a double sided version because the reject rate was over 5%. I re-emailed a Chinese company who were planning to do a double sided HD metal. I'll see how far they've got.
