Think on final attempt with this press, we preheated the whole mug in our oven, and then tried it in the press for 20 minutes, and the mug was still faint and fuzzy.
We do run our normal presses at 210 - this temp is more to do with compensating for the cooling of the press when the mug is put in, and how the ceramic absorbs/disapates the heat - I think with the pneumatic press, I'd be surprised if it was actually heating to the temp it is set to, but I don't have any way of testing it.
In terms of temps and sublimation - it isn't just the temp that the inks need to sublimate though remember, it is also the temperature the substrate/coating needs to be heated to be be receptive to absorbing the inks - one fabric we print only works at 160, anything above that and the colours are weak - when we were first testing it, we kept upping the temp and weren't getting anywhere, until we thought of trying what seemed illogical, and it worked.

It is probably very similar to the model that Paul reviewed recently:

Use good quality mugs from a reputable supplier - cheap mugs from ebay may give you problems or substandard results on any mug press.
